Well he's on the move. Dylan scoots all over the house now, even on carpet. This is fun but also more labor intensive, both for him and for us. Certain things, as parents of babies know, are more enticing that others: the stereo, the cat food bowls, that piece of half eaten toast that fell to the floor. So diligence is much more important now. Plus the refrigerator is very interesting to him as well. He gets hold of the door as soon as I open it and I have to practically wrestle it from his hands to close it. Time for a lock on that thing.
This mobility also means he's eating more cat hair. I confess, I don't clean the floor everyday and there are cat fur dust bunnies floating around like tumbleweeds. It seems I'll have to swiffer more than three times a week now. Cause a baby with hairballs isn't any cuter than a cat with hairballs.
